Prom is one of the most memorable events in a high schoolers life. Central Nebraska has a few different locations that help make the process even smoothers for high schoolers and their friends/families. I’ve done the research and these are some of my favorite locations to go prom shopping in Central Nebraska for dresses or tuxedos/suits.
Where to Go Prom Shopping in Central Nebraska
Bryan Jensen
First up, let’s look at the tuxedos! Bryan Jensen Clothing has been in business since 1925 in St. Paul, Nebraska (approximately 25 miles north of Grand Island. They offer a wide range of items from western wear to formal wear ( also offer big and tall sizes in everything). This is a frequent spot for the locals in terms of tuxedo rentals for proms, special events, weddings, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable and tries to find everyone something in their price point which looks fantastic.
Olive & Grace Bridal
This is a great location in Railside (downtown) Grand Island if you’re looking for a trendy dress or tuxedo/suit. In addition to the typical bridal gowns, they have several prom options. Jovani, Amarra, JVN, and more are some of the designers that they have in store. Olive & Grace opened their doors in 2022 and have became a go-to spot for many people. Prom shopping can be just as fun as bridal dress shopping and this is a great modern spot right smack dab in central Nebraska.
K Town Couture
One of the most popular places to go prom shopping in Central Nebraska is K Town Couture. In Kearney, Nebraska you can find prom dresses from Sherri Hill, Morilee, and so many other brands. They do have shoes and accessories available so you can make this your one shop spot for all things prom or event related. K Town Couture does have a brand ambassador program for high school seniors if they’re interested too.
Dream Designs Bridal Shop
Located in Aurora, Nebraska this bridal shop opened it its doors in 2000 and offers so many prom dress options. This bridal shop offers both dresses and tuxedos at an affordable price with great service. The owner has such a background in sewing and alterations and has made it a priority to create this small town shop which offers all of the amazing dresses and tuxedos for everyone. Dream Designs Bridal Shop is very involved in their small community and a great hidden spot to go Prom Shopping in Central Nebraska.
Overall there are several different locations in Central Nebraska where you can find prom dresses and suits/tuxedos. These are just a few of my favorite locations that I recommend in terms of location and style. Senior year is so special and finding a perfect dress or outfit can really make a wonderful night even better.
