One of the most memorable parts of your senior year include senior pictures! This is such a fun event to prepare for, participate in, and celebrate afterwards. Finding a photographer that you love and trust is just about as important as finding outfits that flatter and highlight you! Nebraska and specifically Central Nebraska have some fantastic boutiques that have online and storefront options that can help you find the perfect outfits to really make your senior pictures even better! I’ve done the research and these are some of my favorite Nebraska boutiques.
Best Nebraska Boutiques for Senior Portrait Outfits
Boutique 29eleven
If you’re looking for an adorable boutique store with a storefront (or three) you’re in luck! This boutique started in St. Paul a few years ago and has expanded to Albion and even to Grand Island. They have clothes ranging all sizes and have such a wide variety of accessories too. Boutique 29eleven does have a website and app where you can order items at plus they are extremely active on facebook and instagram. This boutique can also be found at various pop up and vendor shows throughout central Nebraska.
West Anna Boutique
Best Boutique of Grand Island for 5 years in a row? You bet! This trendy and unique spot offers something for everyone. Not only do they have a storefront located downtown Grand Island but they have a website with new arrivals every week. The mother and daughter duo began this boutique in 2017. They have expanded into other avenues and offer custom apparel and embroidery too. There are lots of positive reviews for West Anna Boutiques awesome atmosphere and helpful staff that can bring ideas to life.
MyEllement Boutique
This Central City, Nebraska boutique does not have a storefront but instead has the coolest website that is divided into seasons or colors. This boutique has partnered with their local House of Colour franchise to help women of all ages find their colors, shop their colors, and look their best in their colors! MyEllement Boutique is all about color and offers apparel from athletic wear to more formal wear. A great gift for an incoming senior would be getting their “colors” done, then purchasing some items of their WOW colors, and making magic happen at their senior pictures.
Tribe Boutique
Hastings very own boutique brings classic, chic, and affordable outfit options for all. While their storefront may only be open on Thursday, Friday, or Saturdays, they have a website full of cute clothes. They are size inclusive and have a variety of different types of clothes; graphic tees, bodysuits, dresses, jewelry, and more. Tribe Boutique is a great option just south of I-80 to find some new items for your closet.
The Jean Marie Boutique
St. Paul native, Sarah (Petersen) Johnson, started this boutique in 2018. They have storefront location in the Eastern, metro part of the state- Plattsmouth- but frequently has pop up shops in Central Nebraska (Elba). The Jean Marie Boutique offers sizes from Small-3XL and prides themselves with wonderful customer service. Their accessories are highlighted very well and are cute! Shipping is free for orders over $75.
Maple Leaf Boutique
Located in O’Neill, Nebraska, Maple Leaf Boutique is a cute spot to have coffee from “Dejabrew” and shop for some trendy clothes. In addition to the storefront, this boutique’s website is filled with a variety of sizes, styles, and lots of items. This boutique does offer girls sizing 10-16 and also some bralette and sports bra options which are unique. Fun fact: some of Maple Leaf Boutiques photographs of items were taken at my Photography Studio!
Nebraska Boutiques for Senior Portrait Outfits
Overall, there are so many different options where you can purchase cute, trendy clothing from. It also depends on where you’re located, where you’re traveling to, and how far you’re willing to travel to check out a spot. I always recommend to support local if possible vs purchasing outfits from Shein or Amazon.
Above I have listed just a few of the Nebraska Boutiques that I personally like that fit several different styles, budgets, etc. Nebraska is lucky to have so many different boutiques throughout the state and realistically this list could be hundreds of boutiques long.
