Wessels Living History Farm
5520 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467
Wessels Living History Farm is a working farm dedicated to preserving and sharing the life of a traditional Nebraska farmer. When it isn’t being used for York educational purposes, Wessels often hosts beautiful barn venue weddings. The big red barn is ideal for celebrations, and a large door connects the main event space to a tented concrete pad that is perfect for dining and dancing the night away. Without heating or air conditioning, the barn isn’t available in winter months (just something to keep in mind.) However, you may spot the miniature barn animals grazing in their corral nearby! Be sure to look into the church onsite, too, for a beautiful religious ceremony in a lovely, harmonious space.
Holthus Convention Center
3130 Holen Avenue, York, NE 68467
The Holthus Convention Center is a beautiful wedding venue built in 2014 to host memorable weddings and events in the heart of York, Nebraska. From the moment you enter the cathedral-style lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows, you and your guests will know you’re celebrating somewhere special. The 12,000 square foot Grand Ballroom has soaring 20’ ceilings, a built-in stage, and enough space to host up to 800 people for a banquet (it can also be divided into smaller spaces for a more intimate wedding.) A state-of-the-art audio-visual system and additional uplighting can transform the space into an exciting, modern event for an epic celebration of your love story!
York Country Club

At York Country Club, you can use a beautiful, elegant country club wedding venue without having to be a member! Their beautifully decorated clubhouse comfortably seats up to 250 guests. In addition to plenty of room for a dance floor and a designated DJ spot. The clubhouse overlooks views of the gorgeous 18-hole golf course, perfect for bringing the outdoors “in” to your celebration. York Country Club provides linens, table settings, and glassware, and their well-trained staff offers excellent service for an event that feels as luxe as it looks! Enjoy in-house catering and bar services, too, for an even simpler planning process that delivers on looks and taste.
The Ivy

The Ivy is a beautiful venue with an intimate event hall and gorgeous private gardens. In spring and summer, the gardens are a true sensory sanctuary. They feature a trickling waterfall, fragrant trees, and bold and beautiful flowers. Inside the venue, you’ll find charming touches like stained glass windows, beautiful hardwood floors, and a uniquely arched ceiling. At The Ivy, you pretty much have full control over which vendors you use. Allowing you to create a totally customized wedding experience. Additionally, The Ivy has a collection of beautiful bespoke decor available to rent and use on your wedding day for an extra special (and easy!) touch.
